FAMU students celebrated the 124th anniversary of the university’s founding, along with the official start of Homecoming, with a variety of events that drew thousands of energetic participants.
The commemoration began Sunday evening with a Midnight Madness Pandemonium concert and step-off on Galimore Field.
Later, students convened on The Quad in front of the Eternal Flame for a university birthday celebration that featured music, dancing, FAMU Cheerleader performances, and plenty of fresh birthday cake.
